Booking

A provisional booking will be held for 5 days. If we have not received your deposit within 5 days, we regret that your provisional booking will lapse.

Deposit

If a booking is made 8 weeks or more before the holiday starts, a deposit of £150 is payable.

If your holiday begins less than 8 weeks before the time of booking then the full rent including a separate cheque of £100 Breakage Deposit is payable immediately.

All rental payments to be received no later than 8 weeks before start of holiday.

Smaller Groups

Smaller groups are welcome at Penwith House. Please bear in mind the following:

For smaller groups (for example five or less) that have paid reduced rates, bedrooms not in use will be locked at the owner's discretion.
Where price is indicated as 'set', all rooms are available but beds will only be made up for the number of guests as stated by you on your booking form.

Breakage Deposit

The Breakage Desposit is £50 for 2-4 guests and £100 for 5-8 guests.

The Breakage Deposit is paid as a separate cheque at the same time as the balance. The Breakage deposit is returned less any monies required to cover breakages/losses approximately 10 days after the end of your stay.

Cheques and booking information including names in the party and contact address and telephone numbers should be sent to the above address.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks before a holiday begins, the whole rent is payable unless we succeed in re-letting, With more than 8 weeks notice , the deposit only would be forfeited.

Arrival and Departure

All holidays start and finish on a Saturday. Tenancies commence at 4.00pm on the first day and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure.

Parking

There is gated parking to side of property for 1 small/medium sized car only.

Cots

A Travel Cot can be provided. Guests to supply own linen. Stairs gates for top and bottom of stairs are available. A high chair can be provided if required.

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the property.

Pets

Maximum of two dogs. No extra charge but prior approval must be sought. Copy of full vaccination card must be sent with up to date boosters before holiday. Dogs must not go upstairs and must not be left unattended. Stairs gates will be supplied.

Electricity, Oil, Central Heating, Logs and Linen

Electricity, oil and central heating is included. Between October and March a starter pack of logs, coal, firelighters and matches is provided for a fire on the first evening. Duvets, duvet covers, pillows, pillowcases, towels and tea towels are provided. Not beach towels.

Tenants' Obligations

The tenant agrees:

to pay for any losses or damage to the property.
to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at departure. The owners reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a satisfactory condition.
to permit the owners and their agents reasonable access to the property.
not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party listed on the Booking Form.
not to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property description.

Liability

The owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which the applicant or any other person may suffer or sustain arising out of or in respect of any letting.

Complaints

We try to take every care to prepare the property to a standard whereby our visitors will enjoy their holiday. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately. Every effort will then be made to assist you do not leave it until after your holiday we want you to enjoy your time at Penwith House.
